Welcome to the Paralaxita Entomology Species Directory, abbreviated as P.S.D.
The Species Directory is an all-inclusive index for all species observation records, documentation, photos, videos, and research notes. It does not discriminate and includes records for all clades of living organism of which I've observed.Certain species files may include links to external resources to provide additional knowledge on a given organism. All species files contain primary links to their observation file on iNaturalist, however their file here on the P.S.D is considered the default and most accurate.
Indexing Options
The Species Directory can be indexed in different ways depending on your usage needs. If you know the exact taxonomy of an organism and need to search for its entry, for example, it may be the most helpful to index by taxon.If you know the the genus and species, alphabetical indexing may better suit your needs. If you need to find an organism endemic to a specific geographical area, than regional indexing would be of the most use.
