I obtained this camera as a hand-me-down from a family friend back in my high-school days, as at the time I could not afford to purchase my own DSLR camera. It was brand new at that time, and I was eternally grateful to have recieved it. It means a lot to me, as it has been by my side on all my adventures and trips both locally and across the globe, helping to not only to study my passion for entomology and nature, but also preserve many priceless personal and familial memories.

I don't have access to much photographic equipment other than this camera and its lenses (with the exception of a GoPro Max), but I make the most of what I have and it has never let me down! I'll use this unit until the day it dies! Most of the photographs throughout the site were shot with this camera, and over the years I've only appreciated it more. While I've used many cameras before this one, this camera allowed me to access more avenues of my passion for photography and express what I see through the photos it captures.
